Year 3 enjoyed a very busy day at the Centre for Life as part of their science studies. They took part in a workshop looking at teeth and digestion. The highlight of this was making a simulation of the digestion process – from mushing together Weetabix, banana and saliva, creating an oesophagus, then adding stomach acid to their mixture, before finally using some intestines to produce an end waste product.
“I loved the science workshop. It was great fun!” Johann G.
The boys also enjoyed a planetarium visit, ride on the 4D motion ride, and investigated the puzzles in the centre.
“I got wet on the 4D motion ride, it was great fun!” Alexander N.
