The School Day
When moving into our Sixth Form boys experience a much more independent style of learning with the introduction of study periods. Boys still attend school for the Senior School day of 8.40am to 4.00pm however, some of their day will be allocated to study periods when boys can direct their own time and workload.
Most boys will choose to take three A level subjects which will be most prevalent on their timetable but they will also have allocated time for our personal enrichment programme as well as any additional qualifications they may choose to take such as the Extended Project Qualification (EPQ).
As boys will have grown accustom to in the younger years of the School, they will still have full access to our co-curricular programme and many will choose to participate in clubs both before and after school, running up to 6.00pm.
Many old boys going onto Oxbridge and Russell Group universities and individual pathways.
NSB has helped me develop my confidence, taught me about leadership and given me some friends for life but, most importantly, I have some incredible memories.
