What a ‘farmtastic’ day Year 1 had at Whitehouse Farm. First off they had the chance to handle small animals in the petting barn. Such brave boys they were holding mice, rabbits, chicks, guinea pigs, skinny pigs, a rainbow boa, a Chinese water dragon and a tarantula!
After lunch, the boys headed for the farm animals. They enjoyed seeing them close up, stroking them and feeding the sheep, goats, donkeys and ponies. The lambs were outright favourites! The boys really impressed their guide with their animal knowledge and throughout the day, they were interested and enthusiastic visitors. Mrs Hunter was very proud of them as they are such a pleasure to take out.
