Even in their earliest years at Newcastle School for Boys, boys are encouraged take part in all aspects of school life including introducing them to our co-curricular programme.

This programme allows boys their first opportunity to enrich their education, learn new skills and develop their passion for learning. The boys are encouraged to take an active part in the co-curricular education provided by the School which runs alongside the academic curriculum.

From as early as Nursery, boys are afforded the opportunity to take part in Football and Rugbytots clubs and those in Reception are also invited to join our French club.

Participation in such clubs allows boys to spend further time with their friends and class mates in a different setting, whilst getting to know boys in other school years and preparing them for our ever increasing co-curricular programme as they move through the School.

The full junior co-curricular timetable can be viewed here.
