As an independent School, Newcastle School for Boys is inspected by the Independent School Inspectorate (ISI), a government regulated body, providing objective inspections and reports on the quality of education, care and welfare of children in independent schools. In January 2022, ISI rated Newcastle School for Boys compliant and the highest rating of excellent for both pupils’ academic and other achievements and pupils’ personal development.
