Junior School charity sleepover

Junior School sleepover

31 excited boys arrived at West Avenue on Thursday 5th December with sleeping bags and pillows. After producing another fantastic Christmas performance in the afternoon, the boys said goodbye to their parents to prepare for a sleepover at school.

They all enjoyed a picnic tea and pizzas. The rest of the evening was spent watching a choice of the Newcastle game or a DVD. Then the boys set up their beds in their classroom and settled down to try and get some sleep.

In the morning, they were treated to a fantastic cooked breakfast with their parents. Thank you to Mrs Cheng, Mr Clark, Mr Sander, Mr Spinks and Miss White for agreeing to stay the night to look after the boys.

The boys not only had a great time, but also raised money and awareness for the charity The World’s Little Sleep Out.
