Celebrating the Queen’s Jubilee

Our Junior School boys loved working in mixed year groups to enjoy a day of fun activities around the school. Activities throughout the day included: a large 70 formation on the school yard, creating lolly stick guards of Buckingham Palace, outdoor team building, a Jubilee themed maths challenge, medal designing, Jubilee biscuit decorating in the design of the Union Jack, virtual tours of Buckingham Palace and other British royal buildings, a large collaborative art work based on the Queen as well as a themed picnic inside the hall. The boys and staff wore red, white and blue to celebrate the day. The boys particularly enjoyed a classic game of ‘Duck, Duck, Goose’ in which some Senior boys even joined in.
