Year 8 were involved in an independent learning project based on the Great War (1914-1918). The boys were moved by clips from the films All Quiet on the Western Front and Gallipoli.
The boys worked in teams and had to come up with their own representation of what the war meant to them. The boys rose to the challenge and there were some excellent examples of team work. Messrs. Hendersona and Newman organised the day and many staff made excellent contributions. There will be a number of events happening in the Autumn Term to mark the centenary of the beginning of the conflict. Parents are very welcome to become involved.
