As part of their Science work, Year 3 boys visited Northumberland Wildlife Trust in Gosforth to experience a day based around minibeasts. Activities ranged from a minibeast hunt, pond dipping to tree and bird identification. The boys were also encouraged to think imaginatively and create a theme park for a chosen minibeast and describe their park to the rest of the group. The boys were unanimous in expressing their enjoyment of the day:” This is the best trip I have ever had.”
