Year 2 trip to Bamburgh

On Tuesday 3rd July , Year 2 visited Bamburgh as part of their castles topic.

In the morning, they had great fun exploring the castle and learning all about its history. The armour and dungeon were particular favourites. In the afternoon, they enjoyed a picnic on the beach – with the sun shining – before building some fantastic castles in the sand and getting very soggy paddling in the sea.

All of the boys had great fun and it provided a super finale to what has been an excellent term and a fantastic year.
