Year 2 trip to Ford Castle
Last week the Year 2 boys enjoyed a fantastic residential trip to Ford Castle in Northumberland. They spent three days learning lots of new skills, such as archery and fencing. They used their teamwork skills to complete a very tricky – and very muddy – assault course. The boys enjoyed a walk to the nearby Etal Castle, including a steam train journey part of the way back. The highlight of the three days for most boys was the zipwire, perched about 80 feet above a gorge! All of the boys took part and were very brave.
An all-round super three days – a fantastic group of boys who were a credit to our school!
