It was wonderful to welcome the Year 2 boys to West Avenue on Wednesday.
They discovered what life will be like for them when they join Year 3 in September. After working hard in the morning, the boys thoroughly enjoyed their dinner. The chocolate brownies were especially popular. Their day finished with a meeting for the boys and their parents detailing all of the exciting things they can expect when they move to West Avenue next year.
A special thank you to the Year 3 boys, Year 6’s Matthew Smith and Ryan Bailey, and Tom Quigley , Alfie Meesonand Dan Laws from Year 13 for sharing their own experience of the move to Year 3 and beyond, all the way up to Sixth Form.
