One week later than planned, we had a super morning in the Junior School celebrating World Book Day. Nursery boys teamed up with Year 3 boys, Reception with Year 6, Year 1 with Year 4 and Year 2 with Year 5. All of the boys thoroughly enjoyed reading and talking about books and stories together; books of all types and for all ages. They were also inspired to think about the readers that they once were and the readers that they will become!
Each year group also spent time thinking about ways to design a t-shirt to promote reading. All of the boys in the Senior School have taken part in this activity too. The t-shirts will be ready for modelling in our celebration assembly next week and after that they will be available for all to see on display.
