Tyneside schools Under 16 basketball

The team travelled to St. Cuthbert’s last week to take part in a 6-team tournament. Starting with a tough game against Dame Alan’s, and despite some great shooting from Billy C and rebounding from Thomas M, Dame Allan’s ran out winners. In the second game against Emmanuel College NSB played superbly with Billy landing three consecutive 3 pointers and Thomas finding his shooting groove. There was some great ball movement from Lewis H and Finn M and the boys ran out comfortable winners. Sadly they couldn’t progress to the final but look forward to more fixtures after Christmas.
