Trip to Beamish

Reception had a fantastic trip to Beamish Museum this week. They spent the morning exploring a farm, set in 1940. The boys enjoyed meeting a variety of animals including pigs, chickens and even a bull! After lunch, they had a walk around the town, discovering life in the north east leading up to the First World War. The boys enjoyed a ride on the top deck of a tram all the way to the Pit Village. They even took part in a lesson and in playground games from 1892 at the school. The boys were impeccably behaved. Miss Robinson is super proud of every single boy!
