The 1st XV rugby team extended their unbeaten run with an excellent victory away at Giggleswick School on the Saturday before half term.
They again started well and, after a period of pressure, scrum half Daniel B dived over. Outstanding hooker Oliver F crashed over for the second, with full back Sam T and flanker Ewan G completing the first half scoring for a 24-7 lead.
In the second half, Under 16 fly half William T got the back line moving well and, following some excellent ball movement, captain Fergus S went over. Fletcher crossed for his second before full back Thomas B dived over after the ball had gone through several pairs of hands, with Harvey G providing the scoring pass.
The penultimate try was the second for man of the match Goodridge and the final try was a smart interception by centre Philip D’ who raced in from 60 metres to make the final score 57-12.
Brilliant result, boys! Well done.
