Anna Freud – Webinars for Parents and Carers
Anna Freud have created a spring term webinar series for parents and carers which commences on Tuesday 14th January 5-6pm, the first delivery on ‘supporting young people with low mood’.
We are able to offer 13 live webinars to parents and carers, to support them to support their young people with a range of difficulties. The topics which will be delivered this term are:
- Managing adolescent behaviour that challenges: tips and tricks
- Weathering the storms of strong teen emotions: do’s, don’ts and when to consider talking to someone
- Anxiety in adolescence: how can parents/carers help?
- How to support your young person with low mood
- Adolescent self–harm: how to make sense of it and when to seek support
- Building resilience, staying connected and nurturing your relationship with your teen
- Understanding the adolescent brain; strategies to help you understand and support young people’s mental health and wellbeing
- Understanding the impact of bullying on a young person’s mental health; practical strategies to help you support your young person
- Early emerging School Based Absence: practical tips and strategies to support your child
- Supporting young people who experience panic
- Supporting your young person through exam time
- Supporting your young person to stay well online
- Supporting your young person to navigate healthy friendships
