Stardust

This week, Year 6 have been listening to Stardust by Neil Gaiman which was adapted for Radio 4 and played over Christmas.

Boys enjoyed listening to the story on iPlayer and were soon lost in this wonderful fantasy story where their imaginations were stirred by wonderful storytelling.

Neil Gaiman is hugely popular with children, young adults and adults alike and he has won numerous awards for his children’s writing.  Boys really enjoyed listening to a radio version of a story and commented how it inspired their imaginations and made the words come to life in their heads.  A memorable way to start a term of reading and storytelling.
