Senior School sports day 2023

Outstanding character was on show in abundance as Years 7 to 10 competed in senior sports day. Once again, there was a full programme of track events, skill-based events plus cycling, rowing and the ever popular tug-of-war. Parents were also involved in the dads/lads and mums/sons races which were, again, hotly contested. Pupils showed outstanding resilience in their performances, as well as empathy in supporting their team mates and competitors alike.

Individual year group winners were William A, Rob C, Tim J and Constantine V, with Oscar B picking up the Victor Ludorum trophy. In the team events, Aldridge won Year 7 and Year 8, whilst Ascham won Year 9 and Mavor, Year 10. Overall, it was Aldridge who won the Shepherd Cup with Year 10 captain Robbie B collecting on their behalf. Huge thanks to everyone who attended and helped to create such an outstanding NSB community event.
