On Tuesday morning, the boys in Year 6 visited Safetyworks to take part in their summer safety campaign.
The boys took part in a range of professionally led sessions and ‘real life’ scenarios which were designed to educate the boys on how to keep safe during the summer months. The five sessions included: an internet safety talk from Northumbria Police, a BBQ and fire safety session from the Tyne and Wear Fire and Rescue Service, a basic first aid session from St. John’s Ambulance, a sun, beach and water safety talk from the RNLI and a road safety session from Newcastle Council.
The boys are to be commended for their enthusiastic approach and impressive attitude to the workshops which allowed them to take a great deal from each session.
