Pricklepad Hedgehog Hospital
Moira from ‘The Pricklepad Hedgehog Hospital’ came to visit the Infant School on Wednesday. Sadly, hedgehogs are in danger of extinction during the next ten years and Moira explained to the boys about her vital work in saving sick and injured hedgehogs. She also told the boys what to do if they were to find a hedgehog out during the day as this usually means they are unwell. Moira brought a hedgehog named Rosie in to school to meet the boys and they were fascinated to see a hedgehog in close proximity.
A big thank you to Miss Granger, who is a volunteer at the hospital, who organised the visit. If anyone would like to know more about how to help our hedgehogs, do please contact the Infant School for more information.
