Getting hot under the shell: A tale of two crabs some mussels and global warming.
On Tuesday 19th April, we will be closing this academic year’s open lecture series with a fascinating talk from Dr Mirela Cuculescu-Santana.
Dr Cuculescu-Santana is a Senior Lecturer in Biology at the Faculty of Health and Life Sciences at Northumbria University. Her current research is regarding the impact of environmental factors, particularly temperature and pollution, on animal life. The role of global warming is a critical aspect of these studies.
The lecture will be hosted in the Hall at The Grove and will run from 6.30 – 7.30 pm with refreshments available from 6.00 pm.
