NSPCC Number Day
Today, boys across the Junior School have been taking part in a fun day of maths related activities in their classrooms to celebrate NSPCC’s Number Day and raise awareness for a very important charity.
Organised by the NSPCC, Number Day is a great way to make maths fun and bring about a positive, ‘can-do’ attitude towards it.
NSPCC have worked closely with our Junior boys and parents over the past two years – running parents’ workshops about internet safety and delivering their ‘Speak Out. Stay Safe’ campaign to our Junior boys in school.
Fundraising in the current climate is slightly more difficult, but if you would like to donate, the school has set up a Just Giving page so we can continue our support of NSPCC and you can click here to donate. The NSPCC needs our support more than ever. By raising money, we can help to fund their vital services such as Childline – the helpline that’s always there for children and young people, whatever their problem or concern.
All the money we raise at NSB will make an enormous difference to children today and help NSPCC prevent abuse tomorrow.
