India cricket tour

The Senior School India cricket tour proved to be an absolutely incredible experience for the 31 pupils, four staff and two parents who spent 12 days in the worlds most populous country, all of whom are mad keen on cricket! The 1st XI won three of their four games which was an outstanding effort considering the heat and humidity, and the standard of the opposition. Robbie B and Sam E making 100’s overseas in our first fixture were two particular highlights. The 2nd XI competed very well and must be commended for showing huge resilience and courage in their performances against some quality teams in very unfamiliar conditions.

Visiting and orphanage in Delhi, the Taj Mahal in Agra at sunrise, going on a tiger safari in Ranthambore, (a rural Primary School in Rajasthan) and rickshaw rides around the pink city of Jaipur were just a few of the unforgettable experiences the tour provided and will live a lifetime in the memories of all who travelled.
