Day 1: Epcot (Friday 26 June)

After waking from a 6 hour sleep, we were presented with a waffle machine for breakfast… A new encounter for most of the party. After a short breakfast time off we went to the EPCOT (Experimental Prototype Community Of Tomorrow) centre, a place where ‘imagineers’ imagined and invented our futures, something we could never imagine ourselves. As we weaved up the space ship earth ride we were taken on a journey through time, from the start of humanity to the future. Afterwards we were taken around the park, on a course of photography. Here, we learnt how to see the world differently and how to capture it through lens unveiling a story that told over a thousand words. Many of us realised that there is more to photography than your standard amateur picture, there are techniques like, side lighting, worm view, cropping, framing and rule of thirds.

Following that, we went on a journey of cultures. We travelled across the continents, starting off with the elegant China. Here we witnessed the beauty of the Golden Age Temples. Learning about the 9 dragons. We spent the rest of the day experiencing different cultural foods and traditions.
