Creative writing club
This half term, lots of boys in Years 1 and 2 have enjoyed taking part in the creative writing club at North Avenue.
The focus this half term has been on poetry, including acrostic and haiku poems. Over the past three weeks, the boys have particularly enjoyed learning how to write a haiku poem and have done so both collaboratively and individually.
Poems have been written on topics as diverse as dogs, winter, football, The Justice League and Harry Potter. Well done, boys. We can’t wait to see what fantastic pieces of creative writing you are able to produce next half term.
