On Sunday, over 50 boys and parents from NSB met up at Newcastle Racecourse to continue the School’s support for the fantastic charity, North East Children’s Cancer Research fund. On a scorching hot day, participants had the choice to run one, three or five miles on a tough course.
Congratulations must go to all participants, but particularly the six boys who completed the full five-mile course – Seb G, Brodie D, and Matthew S (all Year 5) and Rob C, James D and Harrison L (all Year 6) – in a true test of their resilience and sense of community, alongside the utterly exhausted Mr Tickner and Mr Clark.
Well done to everyone who took part, and remember you are always welcome to make a donation to this great cause.
We already have big plans for next year’s event, so please keep an eye out for the invitations when they come as we are hoping to double our participation in 2023!
