Butterfly world

Reception went to Preston Park in Stockton last week to visit Butterfly World. The boys saw all the stages of a butterfly’s development and witnessed a wide range of different species of butterfly. They also saw a lot of other animals including meercats, tarantulas and snakes, and they even fed the koi carp.

After a busy morning, they enjoyed their packed lunch in the park and had a great time in the playground. The afternoon meant it was time for the boys to go on a bug hunt in the orchard of the museum and they had great fun being bug detectives. A busy and very exciting day was had by all, although the fun was all too much for a tired few who took the time to have a nap on the journey back to school.
