Aztec food
Year 5 have had fun this week learning all about Aztec food.
They discovered that many of the foods they ate in Aztec times are still eaten today and ended the afternoon with a healthy Aztec feast. The boys tried lots of different Aztec favourites; salsas made with tomatoes, beans and corn and guacamole, as well as corn tortilla wraps and corn chips. They did, however, decide against trying dog, lizard and human flesh! Some of the boys also explored the Aztecs love of chilli with the addition of chilli flakes and jalapenos.
Great fun was had by all.
