What a fun day out Year 1 had at Gibside. The boys were investigating Autumn and a scavenger hunt set the tone as they searched high and low for signs of Autumn. Judging by the bulging bags, plenty were found.
After a long, tiring trek uphill, the boys were rewarded with lunch in the Stables and a well-earned rest before heading off for yet more walking in search of acorns. The ‘acorn challenge’ was won handsomely by Leo Pokorski who managed to find 128!
