Japanese children’s day

Japanese children’s day was celebrated a week late owing to their recent residential trip. Nonetheless, Year 1 boys gained an insight into the culture of one of their peers and enjoyed participating in some traditional activities. They made koinobori (carp fish flags) and kabuto (Samurai helmets).
