The 1st XV continued their good form with an excellent 50-7 victory away to Yarm. In difficult conditions, the boys moved the ball well, showing progress in their support and coaching the ball carrier. Centre Haydon M opened the scoring as he scorched down the right wing. Nicholas S added the second as he showed his pace after a great break by Jock E. Captain Archie F added the third try before an outstanding team move ended up with Bruce D scoring near the posts.

The second half continued with NSB on top and further tries were added by Mackenzie B (2), Nicholas  and Archie. The fixture was a notable milestone for Toby H who returned to the team after several months out due to injury and he was outstanding!
