Congratulations to Toby D, Saiem H, Areeb H and Gabriel Q who defeated five other schools to win the Newcastle city league Under 13 championships on Thursday and go through to the next round to represent Newcastle.
It was a very high standard of competition and, after the five rounds were completed, NSB were tied for first place with St Mary’s having won 31 games each. On a count back, NSB won a total of 443 games to St Mary’s 428.
