12th annual sports presentation

During the final week of last half term, it was fantastic to celebrate the sporting success of our boys at the 12th annual sports presentation evening. After a break of three years, the event remains as popular as ever with 300 guests crammed into the Grand Hotel, Gosforth Park.

The awards once again celebrated the achievement and progress of the boys, as well as a number of individual and team awards based on participation, performance and character development. We were delighted to welcome along former pupils, Oliver F(England) and Louis R(Scotland) both presenting their international rugby shirts to Mr. Tickner to be displayed in school.

The awards were presented by special guest Pete Graves who gave some outstanding and inspirational insights into his journey to becoming a Sky Sports presenter. Pete also managed a hugely successful sports auction, whilst Mr. Sander ran the annual sports quiz which was won by the Year 12 team. Many thanks to everyone who supported the event.
