The Under 16’s 7’s team had a challenging day at RGS’ 7’s tournament at Mooracres on Saturday. They played Gosforth Academy, RGS, Barnard Castle School and Rohdilion Academy, losing all four but out scoring the group winners Rohdilion in the second half 14-7 and pushing Barnard Castle right to the end to show they were improving and learning with every game they played.
In the Bowl Final they ran out comfortable winners 28-10 to continue that upward trend and take home some silverware.
Thank you to the Under 15 boys who played up a year and added so much to the overall play and team dynamics.
