GCSE Geography urban models
Year 10 have been studying Newcastle as a case study of a city in the developed world.
They were given the task of representing the urban zones of Newcastle using a variety of materials such as paper, cardboard, pipe cleaners and pieces of lego.
The teams worked fast and used their creative ideas and teamwork skills to produce an annotated urban model, showing urban zones and key processes in the cycle of urbanisation.
It was a fun, active lesson, helping them to consolidate their recent knowledge and understanding.
