Year 11 boys studying GCSE Geography last week completed a three day field studies visit to the Cranedale Centre in Yorkshire. The boys collected data on the impact of tourism to the moors and villages of the North Yorkshire National Park, which will be used as part of their GCSE Geography controlled assessments. Many of the boys were very familiar with the hospitality offered by the Centre, having visited it in previous years during the Summer Adventure Holiday. After a tiring, but rewarding visit, the boys are now in an excellent position to complete some first rate controlled assessments. Both staff and boys would like to thank the Cranedale Centre for the care and attention we received during our stay with them
