The Year 7 football team continued their excellent progress against Dame Allan's.

Particular highlights of the game were the whole team’s work rate and how everyone was always looking to move the ball into space. NSB controlled the early stages of the game, having a number of dangerous attacks from both wings but could not find the final ball to break the deadlock. The deadlock was eventually broken through a fantastic long range effort from Yazin A. It stayed 1-0 at half time with Marni E having very little to do, which was mainly down to the excellent defensive work from Hamish A, Faraz I and Oliver P.

NSB continued to dominate in the second half and had a number of chances to extend their lead but were wasteful in front of goal. In the final stages of the game, NSB were awarded a penalty after a Dame Allan’s defender handled the ball in the area, and Alrifaiey calmly stepped up to make it 2-0.

The game finished 2-0 and the standard of performance from the boys shows how much progress the whole team is making.
