I am proud to be Patron of the new Campaign, “Giving Opportunities” at Newcastle School for Boys.
The School has grown considerably in size, structure and status since its creation in 2005 and it is now fully recognised as a successful independent school in Newcastle. It is also an important boys’ only school in the region, and is the only single sex school in the North of England providing continuity of education for over 400 boys from age 3 to 18.
Newcastle School for Boys has now reached a stage in its development where it would like to encourage support from benefactors for all areas to create a fund to encourage more able but financially disadvantaged boys from the region to benefit from the excellent educational opportunities on offer at the School.
In addition, having spent over £4,500,000 since 2005 on capital projects, the School would like to provide opportunities for benefactors to help with the financing of new capital projects which will improve the existing excellent facilities at the School.
Every gift of any size will be gratefully received and we hope to host an annual dinner to give an opportunity to thank all benefactors.
